I am currently in the process of producing a sheet A3 size to be made up of numbers and plates, of all various types.
I would like feedback on what people would like in order to make this sheet up.

ReplyDeleteIf this is still on the cards I have a few suggestions:
1. Complete shed sets (or representative selection of say 20% of a shed's allocation) for selected dates - such as pre-grouping, early, mid or late big four (to cover the major crest/lettering/numbering style changes), early and/or late BR days.
2. Sets of representative coach numbers and name boards for complete named LMS/LMR trains for specific years/periods based on known formations (e.g. those listed in Clive S. Carter's book on the subject (e.g. Pines Express 1926, 1938, 1955) - requires some detective work/assumptions as to specific coach diagrams as Mr C doesn't seem to include these.
3. Representative selections of numbers and plates for specific wagon diagrams.
4. Letraset-style PO wagon lettering in various fonts (with Es that have a short centre horizontal please!), sizes, weights, colours, (plain and shaded) to enable modelling of as yet, unavailable or less well executed liveries.
